Originally, there were 2 stock exchanges in the Philippines, the Manila Stock Exchange and the Makati Stock Exchange. The two exchanges were unified back in December 1992 to form a single national stock exchange known today as the Philippine Stock Exchange. The Philippine Stock Exchange currently maintains two trading floors, one in the Philippine Stock Exchange Center (located in Ortigas, Pasig City) and the Philippine Stock Exchange Plaza (located in Ayala Avenue, Makati City).
